Then, we’ll make our way to Mount of Olives for a stunning panoramic view of Jerusalem’s Old City. We will follow the Palm Sunday Road, and descend to the Garden of Gethsemane. Next, we’ll visit the Southern Steps and The Upper Room. In the afternoon we’ll visit the City of David, Jeremiah’s Cistern, Hezekiah’s Tunnel and the Pool of Siloam.

We’ll also see Mount Carmel where Elijah fought the prophets of Baal and Megiddo, the ancient Tel in the Jezreel Valley where many layers of Biblical history are present. We’ll be visiting Mount Precipice, which overlooks Nazareth & Cana, late in the afternoon before returning to the hotel for the evening. After breakfast we board a private coach, and travel to the Mount of the Beatitudes.

After that, we will enter the Old City section of Jerusalem through the Zion Gate and into the Jewish Quarter. Here, we’ll visit the Cardo and Broad Wall, Western Wall and the Southern Steps of the Temple. Sunday morning we will ascend to Masada. This is a Herodian fortress where Jewish rebels fought against the Roman forces in 73 and 34AD. We will then continue on to Ein Gedi, the oasis David hid from Saul. We will travel through the Judean wilderness, pass the Inn of the Good Samaritan, and then view the City of Gold, Jerusalem from Mount Scopus, before we check into our hotel in Jerusalem.
